Surrender

One more day of pain,
one more day of detachment,
one more day of letting go.

This time I know
one more fear will be taken away,
one more wound will be healed,
one more hindrance of loving removed.

This time I know
isolation will be replaced with belonging,
need to control with power of acceptance,
anxiety with peace.

This time I know life is good.
This is all I want.
I bow my head and surrender
in front of owning my power to love.
